The Storm 03:34
Gravity disappears When you don't really know where you're suppose to go Get that burning in your ears From the folks that're talking like they run the show Keep your body next to mine Real close like you're never gonna let me go Is the timing right Give a shout if the answer is a yes or no There's no clouds in the sky They're all in my mind And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time You're pushing me under Without checking if I need my breath Screaming through the thunder But the storm insists it speaks for you instead Ripping through the atmosphere Get swallowed by the depths of space There's nothing new here Just the same old things you can't get past these days There's no clouds in the sky They're all in my mind And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time And I'm walking on a fine line For the first time

Better 03:11
Is it really worth it do I even care I worry is there really something else out there It floats to the surface with its menacing glare Asking why you gotta be so insincere Fumbling forward, struggling for it now Have you ever felt the warmth inside Your trembling heart even though you’re tired Wait for the side effects to subside Just sit pretty with your rearranged smile Exceptional waste of time You have me cornered Impractical peace of mind (mind) I’m feeling better I wouldn’t live in the world each day Without a little bit of crazy in my brain Take a step back and we’re all the same Murdering the world for our own damn sake Exceptional waste of time You have me cornered Impractical peace of mind (mind) I’m feeling better Mumblin’, stumblin’ trying to break through Crumblings been the clearest of my views Cruising through my deepest memories Rocking back and forth like a small boat floating on the sea Exceptional waste of time You have me cornered Impractical peace of mind (mind) I’m feeling better Exceptional waste of time You have me cornered Impractical peace of mind (mind) I’m feeling better

Other Thing 03:09
What’s up do you feel the same about us Have you already had enough Do you really think you got what it takes To live a life so lonely You’re the other thing on my mind When I’m trying to pass the time Keeping real close to me when I’m tired of sleeping Baby, I’ve been trying to figure you out But I’m not having much luck You’re the other thing on my mind when I’m trying to pass the time Please stay real close to me when I’m tired of sleeping Baby can we hold on and see if our times worth wasting Keep swimming all through those dreams Act like you know what you’re doing Baby what you’re doing to me Baby, I’ve been trying to figure you out But I’m not having much luck You’re the other thing on my mind when I’m trying to pass the time And you know that you’re never alone ‘Cause you know that I’ll always be here I’ll always be here And you’ll be there When you tell me I should be alone You got me going out of my head Baby, I’ve been trying to figure you out But I’m not having much luck You’re the other thing on my mind when I’m trying to pass the time Baby, I’ve been trying to figure you out But I’m not having much luck You’re the other thing on my mind when I’m trying to pass the time

If I Can 03:06
Where did all my family go Oh the fire's on to fight the snow All the lights are on but no one's home Just be true with me now Are you cool with me now You'll never know it like I do And I'll never know it quite like you So what's the point in comparing bruises Just be true with me now Just be true with yourself Stop your fuckin' around Just tell me you'll be fine on your own And I'll never bother you again That's the problem, I don't know If I can, If I can What's going on with ya now Got it figured out 'Cause last I heard you were One thought from breaking down But where else can I go when you're too slow Where else can I go when you're too slow Just tell me you'll be fine on your own And I'll never bother you again That's the problem, I don't know If I can, If I can I can't stand for you darlin' I know it's hard But don't give up on me Unless you're better on your own Then just Tell me you'll be fine on your own And I'll never bother you again That's the problem, I don't know If I can Just tell me you'll be fine on your own And I'll never bother you again That's the problem, I don't know If I can, If I can If I can

Coffee and sunshine don’t pull the same weight that they did at one time I’m cold and I’m tired And the drink on my lips with my cautious sips don’t seem to cut it Until I’m half cut And I’m holding out hope for the smoke in my lungs but it’s teasing my mind Like it does every time And the veil comes and goes like the voice in the hall can you hear it Oh I’m talking to myself Can I see someone, darling? It’ll be about seven months till you see someone, darling Oh, Oh Wake up at lunch time just to fix myself breakfast in the same suit of stains that I wore yesterday My dishes are all dirty but there’s no energy to worry ‘cause there’s too many ants And my cat seems to know some sort of something I don’t So I stare at the walls, just hoping they’ll talk And the scared little man breaks his neck off in the sand Just to quiet the quiet Can I see someone, darling? It'll be about seven months till you see someone, darling (darling) oh Can I see someone, darling? It'll be about seven months till you see someone, darling Can I see someone, darling? It'll be about seven months till you see someone, darling Can I see someone, darling? It'll be about seven months till you see someone, darling Can I see someone, darling? Darling, darling, darling

Guess Again 03:26
Momma have you heard the news They're taking us one by one I really hope I can see you soon No matter how hard we try Our eyes stay wet and our mouths stay dry There's really no hope in following these rules Have we all lost our minds Outside in the rain all night Keep calm hold on Keep them guessing again Blisters all line our feet (But there's no stopping now) Dirty fingernails split between teeth (Can you please tell me how) How you know when you're not in control Have we all lost our minds Outside in the rain all night Keep calm hold on Keep them guessing again There's nothing left of the skin clinging to our bones But guess again if you think I'm dying on my own Have we all lost our mind Outside in the rain all night Keep calm hold on Keep calm hold on Keep calm hold on Keep calm hold on Keep them guessing again Have we all lost our minds Outside in the rain all night Keep calm hold on Keep them guessing again Keep calm hold on Keep them guessing again

about

Indie-pop band Good Dear Good are launching their debut album “Arrival” under new label Lulo Music Group. Since forming in 2018, the band has found success both online and locally in Halifax, Nova Scotia. “Arrival” is composed of previously released songs coupled with their latest creations — all displaying their electric melancholy aesthetic, featuring lyrical themes of perseverance and community . Under the production of In Flight Safety’s John Mullane (Future Dad) as well as Good Dear Good frontperson Tim Hatcher, carefully arranged pop songs filled with guitar hooks, synthesised textures, stratospheric harmonies, and a driving rock rhythm section, all mark the arrival of the bands debut record. With its name coming from the opening instrumental track, “Arrival”, right from the get-go exemplifies the band's quirky, moody and fun vibe; and asserts Good Dear Good’s vibrant presence in the indie music scene.
