Existential dread and anxiety — Halifax-based Good Dear Good’s first creation “The Storm '' is about keeping outward appearances while a tempest wreaks havoc from the inside — like having a really bad time on the most beautiful day of the year. With a backdrop of lush harmonies and playful guitar and synth lines, “The Storm'' represents the struggles of internalized emotions that may not be outwardly present in someone’s day-to-day life.
